Fun News: Sarah Palin VPILF! Bet you didn't know that part of the potential VP's resume includes a stint as a sports reporter for KTUU, Anchorage's NBC affiliate. My god, just a heartbeat away from being a PILF!

No Way! No How!

Can we use "four more years of the last eight years"? Here's Dennis Kucinich lighting the torch and Hillary Clinton "knocking one out of the park" at the DNC today.

I don't have time to watch much television, read a book, or even complete a story, but I have just enough interest to consume "True Stories Told in One Sentence". Then I take a nap.

Give Em' an Inch

Griff Jenkins and Fox News ATTACKED at DNC Protests. Oh my god, but this is America. Here is the scene from another angle. Tough crowd at the DNC today, huh? Don't worry though, by the looks of it, the Denver Police and National Guard have things capably in hand.

For those that may have forgotten, here is a great illustration of how easily world affairs can get out of hand. You know what they say: "Those that forget history...blah,blah,blah..."

Les Wizawarbles

What do pelicans, cute kitty-cats, sun-earth kisses, jelly blobs, and Contra dances have in common? Well, they all can be found in some nice SCruz photos at my friend Quaker Mans blog site.

I am ablobbed, I am agrassed, have I seen Santa Cruz at last? Some wine and say what's going on? A coast you say... a coast maybe
She was just like a coast to me
One minute there, and she was gone!

Here's another touching website. Some nice people took the time to sort and classify where folks like to touch and be touched and placed all the results in an easily understandable graphical format. No big surprises here for me but hey, they forgot to include the soul.

In some cases, I feel that I may be out of touch. Some pay a very high price for beauty, as in this SCARY scarification procedure.

Finally, a public service anouncement:

Opus Dei Day

Laibach: German name for Ljubljana, the current capital of Slovenia
Laibach:Slovenian industrial musical group
I can't remember why, exactly, but they were considered quite controversial when their debut album was released. Check out the short cover of "Life is Life" and you tell me. Perfect marching music. If you enjoy that little ditty you might want to check out "Geburt Einer Nation"(an interesting adaptation of Queens "One Vision") and more currently "Tanz Mit Laibach". Does this kind of thing ever really go out of style?

Get Back to Where You Once Belonged

Ok, back from a few days of rest and relaxation in the Redwoods. The redwood forests are some of the most unique areas in the world. Hot in the sun and cool under the boughs, it makes for a beautiful and healthy climate of extremes.
Some of Californias finest wines are produced in these regions. The "Rockpile", one of the newest appellations, produces award winning vintages from a rugged , relatively high altitude terrain.
Breath taking scenery, great locally produced food, and bohemian lifestyles( its where THE Bohemian grove is located) combine to form a wondrous place. I could to live there.

OH REALLY!

John MCcain knows how to "win" a war? Just exactly which one was that anyway? I am sure he is not referring to this incident. Watch carefully and you can see the pilot skittering to safety. Aviator? More like "bloviator".
But seriously, when I'm not busy cleaning up MY stupid mistakes, I meditate on the image of the sexy genius lady. I feel smarter just gazing at her.

Welcome to the Thunderdrone

Well here it is, my first blog. What's that now? About time you say? Well you're right it is about time. After struggling for years in the vain attempt to comprehend the entire Internet, the time has come to admit defeat; a lifetime is not enough to ingest it all. We are going to need help with that task.
We have finally "hit the wall", so to speak. We have made so much information available yet it can be processed only as quickly as our primitive senses will allow. We need help to extend our processing abilities and I believe that the proverbial "Mother of invention" axiom will hold true for the future. The Internet is more than just a way to move information; it is the pro genitive reason for the evolution of a new species. A species that will be optimized in its ability to make the best use of the staggering amount of the worlds information resources.
OK, so there you go, I have added some of my thoughts in text to the information swarm with the writing of this blog and as I write I realise that I am probably not the first to express these ideas, that in a world with billions of entities the odds are against any "new" concepts by now. What we will see is that common perceptions will coalesce and rise to the fore in a more rapid fashion than we have experienced in the past. With this blog, my voice joins the worlds voice in the cacaphonic invocation of the being that will replace us. This is the modern world.
This blog is a work in progress and will most likely be used as a repository of my experiences, memories, media, recommended resources, and plain old ramblings when I feel the need to write them down. Oh, and I hope you will oblige my vents. Stay tuned...

MOOOoooooo!
